Un coro de niños cantando, el profesor les acompaña con el órgano. Cantan algo en alemán. Nadie en la iglesia lo entiende. Suena realmente hermoso y angelical, aunque tranquilamente podrían estar lanzando loas y soflamas pro hitlerianas.

¿Niños neo nazis? Dentro del público estaba Ignacio Orellana, interpretado por Brad Pitt. Y en su cabeza esa pregunta: ¿niños neo nazis? Ignacio estaba destinado en Santibáñez de Poblete, Soria. ¿Era posible que un coro de niños de la España vaciada fuera un grupo de adoradores de Hitler? ¿Un grupo de niños fascistas que puedan, en un futuro, poner en riesgo la democracia israelí desde Santibáñez de Poblete?

Ignacio llevaba solo 3 días en su nuevo destino cuando su vecina Altisidora, una atractiva joven de 57 años, le invitó a acompañarla a misa el domingo.

Ignacio contemplaba los frescos de la iglesia de Santibáñez de Poblete. Las esvásticas dibujadas por todas las paredes del templo hacían sospechar a Ignacio. “La iglesia está llena de esvásticas… ¿pero son por ello nazis?”. Ignacio dudaba. Los demás fieles también cantaban en voz baja. Todos parecían saberse la letra. A Ignacio le pareció entender que el estribillo decía algo como “Sieg Heil nananana Sieg Heil”. Pero de nuevo pensó que eso no probaba nada. ¿Cómo iba a ser un pueblo entero de Soria unos supremacistas blancos? No actuaría hasta que tuviera una confirmación explícita.

“Heil Hitler” dijo el cura al terminar el coro de cantar. “Heil Hitler!”, vociferaron todos los asistentes. “Hitler es nuestro señor”, oró el cura.  “Alabado sea Hitler”, respondieron los fieles. Ignacio pensó para sí “mmm qué raro”. Cura, coro de niños y asistentes comenzaron un rezo conjunto: “Hitler es mi pastor, nada me falta, en verdes praderas me hace recostar. Me guía por senderos justos y me pide que mate a todos los judíos”.

Ignacio permaneció en Santibáñez 88 días más sin recabar ninguna prueba sobre la posible vinculación entre el pueblo y el mundo neonazi.
